A message from Hamilton. Ontario,
saws Arthur Last wood, ihe coxswain of the New Zealand rowing team, has been suffering from an illness believed to have been caused l.v the change of climate. He is better, and has left hospital. Four eight-oared shells for the New Zealand rowers have arrived, as well as Pea ire's boat
To-day practically all tho New Zealand and Australian athletes got down to work. They express the greatest satisfaction at, the comfort of their quarters. The New Zealand scullers are fraternising with the members of tho local Leaniler Club, with whom they will train. The arrival of tho New Zealanders and Australians has renewed enthusiasm and interest in the games.
