WEDDING RINGS.

AND SENTIMENT,

A generation ago women never parted with tho ring with which they were married, and in some instances never even removed it from tho time it was put on; to-day women have no compunction about having a new wedding ring after a few years. It has been suggested that women are less sentimental about their wedding rings than they wore. It is true that our grandmothers would have been horrified by the idea of having a new wedding ring, but tho fact that the modern women discarded the old-fashioned wide gold ring when the narrow gold and platinum ring became tho voguo does not mean that she is any less sentimental about wedding rings.
