EX-SERVICE WOMEN.
Members of the Ex-sei vice Women's Association 11 oIrJ an informal meeting on Thursday afternoon at the Cameo Club. Musical and elocutionary items were given and a competition held. A report of work done for the emergency fund through which help is given to the wives and families of ex-service men in distress was also given and showed that a considerable number of cases had been helped. The members who were present included the president, Mrs. H. L. Gould: patron, Miss E. M Nutsey; Mesdames Michaels, Deck, Blampied, Chalmers, 0. Smith, Garlick, Blenton-Hunt, F. C. Webster, Lewin. Stewart-Masson, Noonan, Parkinson, Ranfurley-Smith, Misses Luxford, Ernest, Stubbington, Dash, Pe.ate, and J. Smith.
