FAILURE TO FURNISH

Failure on the part of owners of pronet ties to furnish the Commissioner of Taxes with the necessary returns before April 8, led to a number of prosecutions in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court today John Benjamin Johnston, of Te Aroba, was fined £2 and costs totalling £3 13s; John Wylic, of Rotorua, was fined £3. with costs totalling £3 13s; and Robert Young, of Matamata, was fined £5 and costs, £3 13s.
