An Empire economic group has been formed by 56 members of tho House of Lords, including Viscount Allenby, Earl Realty, the Earl of Birkenhead, Viscount Elibank and Earl .Tellicoe. They elected Lord Melchett chairman, and passed a resolution pledging the group to use its utmost endeavours to promote the economic unity of tho Empire.
