SURGEONS PUZZLED.
DIAGNOSIS BY X-RAYS. OPERATION CONTRADICTS. (Received July 03, 11.35 p.m.) MELBOURNE, July 23. Medical men in Melbourne are puzzled by the announcement that although ilnce X-rays photographs had shown positive signs of cancer in a woman the surgeon who performed an operation on her declared there was not the slightest sign of cancer in the patient, who died under the operation.
