INDEPENDENT GOVERNMENT
SHANGHAI. July '2l
It is. regarded as significant that Wang Ching-wci. well known as :i leader of the anti-Nanking Left l'artv is on his way to Peking. It. is reported that his purpose is to establish an independent Government.
Wang's departure from Canton supports uriiiuthenticated reports that the Nanking Government is suffering setbacks on all the military fronts. The fact that large Nationalist reinforcements have been hastily summoned from the southern province. of Kwangtung supports these reports.
