A PHENOMENON.

Sir, —While out in a recent thunderstorm with a companion we noticed a small light on the tips of our horses' ears. It was pitch dark at tho time, and the lightning fairly close and raining heavily. Tho lights to which I refer wero similar to those made by glowworms and disappeared after tho storm had passed. Could any of your readers give me any previous instances of this, and the reason font? E.W.S.
