OBITUARY.

VISCOUNT CLIFDEN. (Received July 20. 5,15 p.m.) LONDON, July 10. The death has occurred of Viscount Cli Men, aged 36. Thomas Charles Agar-Itobartcs, sixth Viscount Clifden. succeeded his father as Baron Robartes in 1882, and a kinsman as Viscount Clifden in 1899. He was at Eton and Oxford, and was called to the 13ar in 1870. Ho was Liberal member of tho House of Commons for East Cornwall, 1880-82. Ho is succeeded by his son. the Hon. Francis Gerald Agar-Robartes, who is in tho Diplomatic Service. Tho late peer's eldest son was killed in the war in 1915.
