A large number of Takapuna and Devonport residents were present; and also a number of visitors from Auckland. 'the music was played by Hartley s Orchestra and included several old-time linnibpia whii h w ere vcrv much enjoyed by the older members of the gathering.

Short, black and silver beaded frock; Miss Homes, black goorgctte; Mrs Morris, black and blue patterned georgette; Mrs. G. Nicks, black brocaded georgette with mandarin jacket; Mrs. 1). Hawes. Burgundy led georgette; Mrs. Edev, blue, figured georgette corsage with taffeta skirt in the same shade; Mrs. Wilkins, black georgette and lace; Mrs. T. M.owbrav, lime green satin beautr ; Mrs. 11.
