OBITUARY.
MR. D. McD. BRYCE. The death of Mr. Dugald McDonald Bryce,'aged 82 years, Las occurred at his residence, Merivale Avenue, Epsom. Mr Bryce was for over 'lO years a resident of ; Mercury Bay, and up to the timo of his retirement, ten years ago conducted a general store and bakery business there Uo was actively engaged 111 local affairs, and was always prominent in furthering the interests of the town and district. Ho was a member cf many local bodies, and for many years was a member of tlio Coromandcl County Council. Mr. Bryce was a foundation member and past mas- ■ ter of Lodge Whitianga, of the Scottish Constitution of Freemasonry. 110 was always interested in church matters, and with others was responsible for the erection of tho Mercury Bay Church. lie retired from active business in 1921, and since then has resided nt Epsom. J HAMILTON, Sunday Tho death occurred at Hamilton yesterday of Mr. William Haslam Wood, at tho ago of 79 years. Mr. Wood was born at Geelong, Australia, and came to New Zealand when 10 years of age. j Ho was educated at Christ's Col- j lege. Ho followed various occupations, 1 including mining, and he travelled extensively. Mr. Wood, who married twice, is survived by ;i widow and an adult family, two of whom, Messrs. P. and W. 11. Wood , are farming at j Orini. Waikato. !
