Mackj ; vice-president. Mi'. .T. (!. Wynyaid, com mil tee. Messrs. AV. MacKenzie, G. I>. Melrose. (!. MeCalliini; secretary, Mr. C. J. Pierce. \ resolution was carried protesting against the drastic act ion of Ihe t.ovcrnnient in curtailing tho existing defence forces of the Dominion and thereby making it inoperative and of no practical value."
