BASKETBALL DANCE.

The Waratah Basketball Club held a dance in tho Penrith tearooms on Saturday evening. Tho rooms were gaily decorated with streamers in tho club colours, green and black. Excellent music was provided by Mr. L. Meredith's "Adelphia" Orchestra and Miss Ballantyno and Mr. Bruco, pupils of tho Margaret O'Connor Studio, gavo an exhibition of tho latest dances. Two Monte Carlo dances were won by Miss K. Johnson an! Miss C. Shaw, with their respective partners. The hostesses were Miss Florence Tuvbott, who wore an ankle-length frock of frilled phlox pink satin and georgette, and Miss Lulla Taylor, wearing a period frock of primrose satin with flame hip bow.
