INDIAN RAILWAY.
ORDER FOR LOCOMOTIVES. LANCASHIRE FIRM'S CONTRACT. (Received July 16, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, July 15. The proprietors of the Vulcan foundry, at Newton-le-willows, Lancashire, have secured a contract to supply the Indian North-Western Railway Company with 27 locomotives. The carrying out of the order will provide nino months' work for 2000 men.
