The Narse Cavell Memorial Hospital at iPaparoa is now functioning under the new arrangements./ Acting under the recommendations contained in the report of Dr. Shore, the Kaipara Hospital Board is maintaining the institution for the reception of maternity cases and clean, medical and surgical cases. On behalf of the board, it is stated that the hospital has not at any time been closed except for the regulation time of one week stipulated by the Health Department for fumigation after septic cases. In fact, greater precautions were taken than the Health Department required, m that fumigation was carried out three time s.
