The conference of power board secretaries was concluded this afternoon, wheD the following officers were elected: — Chairman, Mr. S. P. Day (Franklin); secretary, Mr. N. N. Speer (Auckland); committee, Messrs. D. McArthur (Te Awamulu), K. W. Eglinton (Manawatu* Oroua), 11. H. Wylio (Hawke's Bay), A. M. Owen (Christchurch), G. Brown (Wairarapa), and G. Campbell -(Southland)*
