OBITUARY.
MRS. E. B. EATON
Tlio death ocnirrqd on Saturday, nt Pukekohe, of Mrs. Elizabeth Burton Eaton, widow of the lato Mr. A. Eaton, in her 89th year. Mrs. Eaton arrived in New Zealand with her parents in the ship Joseph Fletcher in 1858 and had lived in Auckland ever since. She is survived by five sons and one daughter; there are 21 grandchildren and six great-grand-children.
MRS. ISABELLA BRYANT. [nv TELKGHAi'II.—OWN roHItIiSPONDENT.] PUKEKOHE, Saturday. The death occurred at Karaka yesterday of Mrs. Isabella Bryant, aged 85 years, an old resident of that district. Mrs. Bryant's parents, tho late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Clark, were pioneers in tho Waiau district, Karaka, where they settled about 70 years ago. Mrs. Bryant, who was their second daughter, was born 15 years before while they were in Tasmania. Mrs. Bryant was married at Waiau and subsequently resided with her husband, the late Mr. Georgo Bryant, at Auckland, Mauku and Patumahoe. About 40 years ago they returned to tho Karaka district, whero they took up land and resided for the remainder of their lives. Mr. Bryant died 20 years ago. Mrs. Bryant is survived by two sons, Messrs. J. R. Bryant, Karaka, and C. B. Bryant, Waitoar, and three daughters, Mrs. H. Benjamin, Green Lano; Mrs. 1?. Harkness, Karaka; and Miss E. Bryant, Karaka. There aro 16 grandchildren and seven great-grand-children.
