A supplementary wool sale was held today, when the associated Dunedin brokers sulnnittcd catalogues totalling approximately 2500 bales. The hulk of the offering comprised lleece wool and pieces, chiefly late shorn, including a fair proportion of crutchings. There were also a number of clips which had been withdrawn or hold over from the main sales. Generally speaking, tho quality of the offering compared very favourably with that of the April sale. > There was a good attendance of buyers, but competition was restricted to comparatively few. Bradford buyers were quiet, and most of the competition came from tho Continent, with good support from local mills for lines suitable for their requirements l'rices were not up to the rates ruling at (he Wellington sale last month, and passings were fairly frequent. Compared with the bust Dunedin sale in April prices for crossbreds were unchanged ; pieces and bellies were very firm, while super halfbreds were fully J,d lower; average to good sorts were par to slightly easier. The following is the range of prices:— Halfbreds.-—Good fo super, lOd to 12(1; low to medium, 8d fo 9J>d. Fine Crossbreds. —Good to super, 9d to 9^(1; low to medium, fid to BjM. Medium Crossbreds. —Good to super, to BJd; low to medium, 7d to Bd. Necks and Pieces. —Ifalfbred, 8(1 to 9d; crossbred, to B^l. Pieces and Bellies. —Ifalfbred, to crossbred, to 6d. Crutchings.—Half bred, 5d fo 6d : crossbred, sjd to 7d; inferior and seedy, 3J,d to 5d ; locks and stained pieces, 3d to 4i,d.

THE LONDON SALES. LAST ARRIVALS INCLUDED. The Bank of New Zealand lias received the following advice from its London office:—Wool sales: List of arrivals for the fourth series of sales, commencing on July 8, closed on June 30. The last ship to be included was the Port Sydney.
