Campbell, to-day. It had, said Mr. Campbell, been a groat disappointment to thorn all that tho commission which was to investigate Now Zealand industries did not proceed. It seemed as if the portfolio of Industries and Commerce was one which nobody wantnl, and that it was the Cinderella of iho Cabinet. Cobbo during the short period he was Minister of Industries and Commerce, and of tho help given by Sir Joseph Ward and Sir Charles Fergusson, who nt all times showed his sympathy with the New Zealand manufacturers.
