Mr. Roger Q. Williams, with two companions, in the Bellanca monoplane Columbia, landed oil the Curtiss field at 10.10 p.m to day, after a round-trip flight from Bermuda, which took 17 hours 8 minutes for 1560 miles. The airmen took off at 5.2 a.m. from Roosevelt field, and arrived at Bermuda in 9.J hours. They dropped the mail on a golf course. They had good weather throughout
They were testing tho practicability of a New York-Bermuda commercial air line.
Mr. Roger Williams flew from Old Orchard, Maine, to Rome, non-stop, in tho Bellanea monoplane Pathfinder last year. Mr. Lewis Yancey was with him. He is an instructor at Roosevelt field, Long Island.
