PASTOR AND WOMAN SHOT. HUSBAND'S STATEMENT. NEW YORK. Julio 29. A tragic affair occurred at Niagara today. The Rev. Raymond Wood, pastor of tho Pentecostal Mission, had finished his sermon when Frank Ross, a labourer, stepped forward and shot him dead as ho stood on the steps of tho pulpit.

Then Ross turned his revolver on his own wife, killing her also. Firing two further shots in quick succession he wounded two other peoplo. Tho murderer coolly told tho police that his wife and Mr. Wood had been keeping lovo trysts. Ho had shot tho other two people because they had assisted in tho deception.
