SEVERAL RECENT CASES.

NGATEi, Monday.

Thefts oi! cargo, an oifenos once very prevalent on the unprotected wharves along the banks of the Fiako River have occurred at; several points recently. Two years ago three men were caught with a. considerable cargo hidden on an island in the river.

The latest cases of theft are reported from the Fipiroa wharf, where quantities of wire netting, lubricating oil, benziri3 and produce were removed in the early hours of a recent mornirijj.
