MOANA DANCE CLUB.

A new dance club has been formed by a number of Takapuna ladies in connection with tho Pirate Ship at Milford. 1- ho first df a series of evenings which it is proposed to» hold there took placo 011 Saturday. Tho music was played by Bartley's Pirates Orchestra, and was much appreciated by tho dancers. Tho committeo comprised:—Mrs. J. L.owdcu,. black laco over pink georgetto; Mrs. Croshor, lcltuco green satin with shoulder spray to tone; Miss Marjoric Mason, scarlet georgetto. Others present included:—Mrs. R. N. S. Chisholm, who wore a frock of chartreuse green georgette: Mrs. Slingcr. black brocaded georgetto; Mrs. Wilkins black laco over flesh pink t-atin; Mrs. War brick, cyclamen chiffon velvet; Mrs. Eugeno Sullivan, coral pink moiro velvet; Mrs. Anderson, green chenille georgette: Mrs. D. M. Davidson, pastel pink taffeta with shawl to tone; Mrs. F. llawcs, leaf green crepo satin; Mrs. Freakes, black laco with Indian red embroidered shawl; Mrs. J. E. Close, powder blue moiro talTeta: Mrs. Randall, salmon pink chiffon velvet; Mrs. Lister, lemon georgette and laco with white fur wrap; Mrs. Edey, black laco and georgette; Mrs. C. M Littlojohn, gold laco and green tulle; Mrs. Temple, fuchsia and black brocaded georgette; Mrs Morris, black and pink beaded frock; Miss Roso Wake, del phinium blue satin; Miss Jean Mcintosh, mist blue floral georgette with satin in the samo shade; Bliss Mui'jorie King, pale marigold tissue banded in fur. Miss Betty Jones, white georgette; Miss McLaren, scarlet georgette; Miss Miller, embossed floral georgette in shades of pink; Miss Mona Roberts, delft blue taffeta; Miss Jeau Grahame, carnation pink georgette: Mis 3 Rita Hill, black lace; Miss Reno Blomfield, cameo pink taffeta and bluo shawl; Miss Joan Morris, black polka dotted net; Miss Norah Mason parch ment moiro taffeta: Miss Phyllis Macin j doe, while floral taffeta; Miss Gladys j Williams, bronze brocaded taffeta; Miss Una Platls, ripplo ninon in shades of apricot and blue; Miss 0. Scarborough, floral georgette and tulle to tone: Miss Phyllis Lowins, green taffeta; Miss Waylc, apricot goorgetlo; Miss B. Randall, mimosa taffeta.
