COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS.
• Soft lighting effects and blue and gold streamers were used with charming effect at the Click Clack Cabaret last evening, when the Auckland Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen's Association held a dance, the proceeds of which are to he given to tho funds for charitable purposes. In the lounge largo bowls of golden wattle mado a colourful note. During the evening many popular danco numbers were played by Norm. Ganley s Click Clack Internationals. Among those present were:—Mis. N. Cameron, who wore blush rose shot taffeta and georgette; Mrs. Ivio. Brown, black floral ring velvet; Mrs. J. T. "Virtue, rose-pink ring velvet and tulle; Mrs. L. Gribbin, mulberry shot taffeta; Mrs. H. Boon, almond green crepo de chine and gold laco; Mrs. 11. Bull, delphinium blue georgette; Mrs.' Cahill, shell-pink lace and georgette; Mrs. Ivan Taylor, black georgette and laco; Mrs. Stanley, cameo pink charmeusc and gold lave; Mrs. D. G. Henry, flamo taffeta with . tulle. hemline; Mrs. Rowo, black satin bcaute with scarlet shoulder posy; Mrs. Badlcy, Chinese red ring velvet with gold coatee: Mrs. Pirrit, black and gold sequinned frock; Mrs. Sutton, apple ; green georgette; Mrs. Harold, gold lace over rose satin beaute; -Mrs. W. J. Fisher, briar rose chenille georgette; 'Mrs. Kirk, apricot satin and georgette; Mrs. lountain, corsago of inauvo and silver with silver flounced skirt; Mrs. O. Coupland, black Spanish lace; Mrs. 11. Short,; primrose flounced georgette; Mrs. Clement Austin, black and gold !aco and tulle; Mrs. Verran, black pompadour taffeta, inset with floral reliof; Mrs. 11. M.' Walker (\\'hungarei), daffodil laco and georgetto; Miss Thompson, applo green taffeta, and gold laco; Miss Iv. Cahill,'.. ankle.-length floral inoire taffeta; Miss L Bradley, burgundy satin beaute; Miss H. Purdom, waterlily green floral taffeta and net; Miss D. Adams, floral moire silk and black cmbroidored shawl; Miss Ella Craig, phlox pink floral taffeta; Miss Marshall, cameo pink satin; Miss G. McMillan, rose' pink taffeta; Miss K. Knott, satin and georgette; Miss Ilurfit, - shell-pink taffeta and silver lace; Miss Suisted, leaf-green ring velvet and tulle; Miss Manning, mist blue georgette; Miss Alberta McMillan, ivory chiffon velvet.
