Public notice is hereby given that the Birkenhead Borough Council, in pursuance of its powers under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920. and Amendments, the Rating Act. 1925, and Amendments, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, intends on WEDNESDAY, the 16th day of July, 1930, to make and levy for the year which commenced on April the lßt, 1980, and ends on March the 81st, 1931: 1. A Consolidated Rats of 65d in the £ upon the ratable (unimproved) value of all ratable property appealing in the Valuation Roll for the Borough of Birkenhead, in lieu of the following Rates No. 2-3 Loan Rate, 7-61ths of a penny in the £. No. '1 Loan Rate, 11-64ths of a penny in the £. No. 5 Loan Rate, one penny in the £. No. 6 Loan Rate, l-Bth of a penny in the £. No. 7 Loan Rate, 11-16ths of a penny in the £. No. 8 Loan Rate. l-Bth of a penny in the £. No. 9 Loan Rate, 7-Bths of a penny in the £. No. 10 Loan Rate, 9-82nds of a penny in the £. Hospital Rate, J of a penny in the £. Meter Supplies.—Water supplied by meter to be charged for ut the rate of one shilling and sixpence per 1000 gallons, with a minimum charge of £6 per annum, and a charge of 10s per annum for a water meter if supplied by the Council. 3. Sanitation Rate:— Further notice is hereby given that the said Council, in pursuance of the Public Health Act. 1920, the Rating Act, 1925, "the Municipal Corporations Act, 19'20, and all other Acts enabling, intends on the 16th day of July, 1930. to make and ievy for the year which commenced on April 1, 1930, and ends on March 31. 1931, the following Sanitation Rate:— A Uniform annual fee for Sanitation purposes of 3ns per pan upon all properties that have a house or houses erected thereon, situate within the Sanitary Area of the Borough of Birkenhead, as defined by the Birkenhead Sanitation By-laws, and which are not exempt from the Sanitation service under the provisions of the said bylaws. The said rate to !■»'payable m one sum on July 30. 1930, to the Collector, at the Town Clerk's Office, Birkenhead. The Estimates upon which the nbovementioiled Rates have been struck, having been approved by the Council, are, together with the Valuation Roll, open for inspection at the Town Clerk's Office.
