BOWLING.
DOMINION ROAD CLUB. The twenty-first animal meeting of lis Dominion R-oad Bowling Club ■was held in tbe club's pavilion, Mr. S. E. Chappell presiding over sn att-endance of 45 members. The annual report showed that the club had enjoyed a successful season and recorded a further increase in membership. The balance-sheet revealed a very, satisfactory financial position, the bank overdraft having been reduced by £56 and debentures amounting to £69 having been redeemed. The president presented the trophies -won during the season as follows:—Percentage fours: "Winners, A. R. Donald, J. Hawthorn, W. Wilson, W. Denison; runners-up, C. Bathgate, B. de B. Fleming, E. Hoppy, L. H. Campbell. Club champion: W. Denison: runner-up, F. Truman. Club pairs: Winners, J. Rattray, W. Denison; ruruiersup, E. Winthrop, B. Codd. Handicap singles: Winner: B. Trophies for nert season's competitions were promised in the room. Votes of thanks were accorded to the retiring president and officers, the. ladies who dispensed afternoon tea, the donors of trophies and the press. A special vote of thanks and appreciation was accorded to Mr. Theo. West on his retiring from tbe office of green superintendent which be had held for tho paEt seven years W ARK WORTH CLUB AFFAIRS. The annua] meeting of <he Warkworlh Bowling Club was held on Monday evening, the president. Mr. G. T. Civil, presiding. The ■ report, and balance-sheet showed that in spite of a smaller membership the club had had a successful year. The greens were in excellent condition. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of about £2O. Officers were elected for the ensuing year a.s follows:—Patron, Mr E. Morrison; president. Mr. G. H. Phillips; vice-presidents, the Rev. F. D. TAURANGA SOUTH CLUB. [EX TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAURANGA. Tuesday. The annual general meeting of the Tauranga South Bowline and Tennis Club was held last evening. The balance-sheet showed an improvement in the finances compared with' the previous year. Apart from ordinary membership fees £l2l was raised. Officers were elected as follows:—President, Mr. Fergus Boyd: vice-presidents, Messrs. T. Bunting and C H. Jordan: general secretary, Mr. J. Law; bowling secretary. Mr. A Mearns; treasurer. Mrs. C.
