FAREWELL TO MINISTER.

THE REV. L. jB. FLETCHER. Members of various denominations and societies of the c.ity gathered at the Beresford Street Congregational Church last evening to bid farewell to the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher, president of the New Zealand Christian Endeavoui Union, who leaves shortly for America and England. The Rev. A. S. Wilson presided. Mr. Fletcher will conduct gatherings in various parts of the United States, after which he will attend the jubilee Christian Endeavoui gathering to be held in the Albert Hall, London. A Youth campaign will be conducted by Mr. Fletcher while in England and he anticipates that his whole trip . will occupy about a year.
