CAMPAIGN IN ENGLAND. EMPIRE RESEARCH SCHEME. LONDON*, Juno 12. Lord Barnby, who was Controller of Wool Supplies during the war, has discussed with Mr. Lee Steore,. of Western Australia, and other pastornlists, a proposal to raise £25,000, probably by means of a small levy on growers, in order to promote a " usc-more wool " campaign and to find new uses for woollens. e ... Sir Norman Kilter is at present visiting Dr. Barker's wool research station at Leeds, which Dr. Barker is anxious to make the Empire's central research station to deal with tho problems of production, manufacture and use of wool.
