NEW GUINEA REGION. TIDAL WAVE FOLLOWS. TWELVE NATIVES DROWNED. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. SYDNEY, Juno 19. A message from Port Moresby, on the south coast of New Guinea, states that during a severe earthquake two small coral islands rose out of tho sea near Fisherman Island. A huge tidal wave followed the earthquake and 12 natives were drowned when their canoes were swamped.
