ELECTION OF OFFICERS.

At the annual meeting of the Rntorua Boy Scouts Mr. D. George, tho secretary, read the report. The progress made under the scoutmaster, Mr. A. W. Gordon, has been very satisfactory. A lutgc number of hoys had gained proficiency badges under a strict examination. There had been an increase in the roll, the number now being 71, as against 41 last year. The annual camp was held in conjunction with several VVaikato troops and was a great success. The following committee was elected President, the Rev. A. C. Randerson; vice-presidents, Revs. W. 11. Speer, D. C. Bates and F. \V. Chatterton; secretary, Mr. D. George; treasurer, Mr. H. L. Musgravc; committee, Messrs. Hale, Ivingslnnd, Hay ward, Mesdames Blencowe, Purcell/ Louden, Boucher arid Christopher; scoutmaster, Mr. A. \V. Gordon.
