REFORM PARTY INTERESTS.
ACTIVITY OF BRANCHES.
Considerable activity has beeto manifest in the branches of the Reform Party throughout Auckland during the past few weeks. Among others, successful branch meetings have been held in the Auckland East, Eden, Waitemata, Koskill, Auckland West, Suburbs and Hauraki electorates. The executives of several electoi'ates have also met and discussed matters connected with the organisation in their electorates. The matter of the selection of candidates was discussed and will be dealt with in the near future. Reports showed that there was an increasing interest in the party's activities and that many new members were joining. Meetings in the city are being held regularly and a number of new branches aro being set up. A series of meetings in tho Franklin, Tauranga, Rotorua and Bay of Plenty electorates have been arranged for tho first week of next month. Reports to the divisional office state that tho party's success in the Parnell by-election has had a very stimualting effect on the organisation and has been the means of enrolling many new members.
