AUTOMATIC EXCHANGES.

SUCCESSFUL DANCE,

Tho Automatic Exchanges Sports Club held last evening its first dance in tho interhouse girls' club rooms, which had been lent for tho occasion. The dance room was attractively decorated with sprays of red and gold flowers, which were hung from tho ceiling. In tho lounge graceful palms wero placed and on the supper tables slender vases of flowers in golden tones added a colourful note. The music by Hoffman's Commanders was much appreciated. During the evening two exhibition dances, a solo by Pavette — Anitra's Dance from tho Peer Gynt suite —and an Adagio number, by Paulo and Pavette, wero given and cards wero provided for non-dancers. Mrs. R. Latham, who received the guests, wore a frock of black and flesh pink beaded georgette.
