TRAMWAY TRACKS.
Sir, —The Herald is to be congratulated upon drawing attention to the dn.ngerous stalo of the tramway tracks in Auckland in such a striking way. Every picture tells a story. I could show you some beautiful pictures of tracks in Eden 'lerrace, Symonds Street, Morningside and else where. Not long ago I was in a tram going down , Eden Terrace at about 30 miles per hour, and it bucked and bumped so much that I thought it was off the rails. Sinco then 1 have stuck to my car it's safer, as long as one keeps off tho tram tracks. W. Kino.
