LECTURES BY EXPERTS

[BY TKI/EGKAPir. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE AWAMUTU, Wednesday.

A winter farai school, under the auspices of tho To Awamutu Farmers' Union, in co-operation with the fields division of the Department of Agriculture, was held hero to-day. Tho four sessions were well attended. Mr. Alex. Hanna, president, was in tho chair.

Lectures wero given by Mr. P. W. Smallfield, on top-dressing; ISfr. J. W. Woodcock, on pasture management.; Mr. D. Marshall, on pig feeding and management and livestock disease. At tlio conclusion of tho school hearty votes of thanks were accorded tho lecturers for their informative addresses, and tho wish was expressed for a repetition of tho farm school hero next year.
