BANKING TRANSFERS.
[Btf TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE AWAMUTU, Wednesday,
Mr. R. A. Coyne, who has been manager of tho Te Awamutu branch of tho Union Bank of Australia for the past nine or ten years, has received notification of his transfer to Auckland. He will ba succeeded at Te Awamutu by Ml'. 0. S. West, manager of Uie Wairoa, fjawke's Bay, branch Mr. Coyne has been an active worker in many movements for tho progress of the district. He has held many offices, including the presidency of tho Te Awamutu Chamber of Commerce, treasurer of the Waipa Racing Club, president and secretary of the Tennis Club and Golf Club, and an executive member of the A, and P. Association.
