MISSIONARIES WELCOMED.
SERVICE IN INDIA.
GATHERING AT ST. DAVID'S.
A missionary rally to welcome five missionaries of the Presbyterian Church from India, Miss B. J. Hardie and Miss D. M. Mathevv, who will shortly return to India, and "Nurse E. H. Elliott, the Kev. T. E. Riddle and Mrs. Riddle, who have just arrived from India, was held at St. David's Church, Ivhyber Pass, last even* ing.
The Rev. W. Mawson, foreign missions secretary, in introducing the speakers, spoke of the deep interest taken by the Church, and the warm personal interest with which the missionaries were., welcomed.
The Rev. P. R. Barton, convener of tlia Foreign Missions Committee, presided at the gathering. Interesting addresses on missionary work in India were given i v Nurse Elliott, Misjs Hardio and Mr. Riddle.
