ACT OF NAVAL OFFICER.

SEQUEL TO CONFERENCE, (Received May 21, 12.35 a.m.) TOKIO, May 20. Lieutenant-Commander Kusakari, of the Naval Staff, committed suicide to-day, to mark his disapproval of Japan's alleged failure at the Five Powers Naval Conference. Admiral Takarabe is engaged in endeavouring to reconcile Admiral Kato and the other naval "diehards," who are antagonistic to tho London Naval Treaty.
