ADDRESS BY MR. BENTLEY*

Tho virtues of gratitude and forgiveness formed the subject of an address giveil last evening by the Rev. Walter E. Bentley, the visiting missioner from America, who is conducting an evangelical campaign at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, "Thousands receive the gifts of God daily and never think of tho Giver," said Mr. Bentley, speaking of tho need of gratitude in the lifo of the modern Christian. Grace at meals and frequent attendance at church were simple ways in which gratitude could be displayed. Mr. Bentley said forgiveness was tho third main virtue in the Christian life, yet it was almost as rare as humility and gratitude. This evening Mr. Bentley will give aii address entitled: "If Christianity is False, What Then ?"
