After unloading her timber cargo she will load at Adelaide and later at Melbourne for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton. Wellington and Auckland.
TAHITI FROM SAN FRANCISCO. The Royal Mail Liner Tahiti was scheduled to leavo San Francisco yesterday for Papeete, Rarotonga, Wellington and Sydney. The vessel is duo at Wellington on June 2. and she is to resume her voyago to Sydney on Juno -1. Nathan and Company, Limited, have received advice that the Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Karamea left Liverpool on May 12 with general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. 'THE NORFOLK. To New Zealand the Federal Lino steamer Norfolk is scheduled to reach New Plymouth from Townsvillo on May 2G. Her loading ports are New Plymouth, Opua, Auckland, Tokomaru Bay, Napier, Wanganui and Wellington. The vessel ia due at Auckland on Juno 5. and she is to leave Wellington for London, Avonmouth. The sale was completed yesterday of tho scow Talisman, which lia3 been bought by a Nelson company from J. Smith and Company, Limited, and will be used in tho Cook Strait-Sounds cargo service. For many years she was engaged in the Whangarei coal trade, but n3 most of tho coal is being despatched to Auckland by rail, her services arc no longer required.
