LECTURER APPOINTED^
METHODS OF TEACHING.
Tho appointment of Dr. Bruce Wallace to tho position of lecturer in methods of teaching at the Auckland Training College has been approved by the Education Department. Dr. Wallace was selected from 25 applicants by the appointments committee of the Auckland Education Board.
Dr. Wallace will occupy tho position recently hold by Mr. F. C. Brew, who has been appointed vice-principal of tho Wellington Training College. Dr. "Wallace was educated in Auckland and held teaching positions at King's College and at the Seddon Memorial Technical College. Some years ago he left tho Dominion and held positions at the Princeton University, United States, and later in England. Ho returned to New Zealand recently. His father, Mr. Henry Wallace, was formerly arts instructor at the Training College.
