lINQUEST ON MOTOR-CYCLIST.

An inquest was held at VVaiuku to-day before Mr. L<\ K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, concerning' the death of Mr. Terence Short, of Awhitu Central, who died in the public hospital on April 17, following injuries received on tho previous day when his motor-cycle collided with a lorry at Awhitu. Evidence was given that the cyclist was proceeding, up a hill when the lorry appeared round a bend, travelling i:n the .opposite direction. Tho cyclo had 11ft. in which to pass. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
