MAYOR'S CAR DAMAGED.

COLLISION WITH BUS,

OCCUPANTS NOT HURT

The heavy saloon car used by the Muyot of Auckland, Mr. George Baildon, was involved in a minor collision with an Auckland-Thames service bus in Queen Street, opposite the Town Hall, on Saturday morning. Nobody was injured, although both vehicles were slightly damaged. The Mayor's car was proceeding up Queen Street, and was turning to draw up outside the Town Hall, when it came into collision with the bus, which was following up Queen Street. The front mudguard and running board of the car were buckled, but the vehicle was net otherwise damaged. The bus also escaped lightly. i
