THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
The Governor-Gener.il, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe attended the opening meet of the Pnkuranga Hunt on Saturday. In the afternoon they »vere spectators at the League football at Carlaw Park. In the evening His Excellency presided at the Savage Club. Yesterday morning Their Excellencies attended divine service at St. Mary's Cathedral, and in the afternoon visited the Auckland Zoo. Lord Bledisloe will .attend the weekly, luncheon of the Rotary Club to-day. This evening Their Excellencies will attend the Civic Theatre to see the British film "Atlantic." On Wednesday evening a civic At Home in honour of Their Excellencies will bo given in the Town Hall.
