ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL. ENGLISH LEAGUE FINALS. (Received May 5, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY. May 4. Tho final matches of tho Association football season were played yesterday. Sheffield Wednesday are again champions of the first division of tho League, which position they occupied last year. Derby County are runners-up. Everton and Burnley finished at the bottom of the first division and are relegated to the second division.

Blackpool and Chelsea aro tho champions and runners-up respectively in tho second division. Both have earned promotion into the first division. Notts County and Hull City wcro at tho bottom and descend fo the third division.

Plymouth finished at the head of tho southern section of the third division, and Port Vale finished top of the northern section. Both enter the second division.
