WOMEN'S INSTITUTES.
TUAIvAU. The monthly meeting of the Tuakau Women's Institute was held on Friday evening, Mrs. Lewis presiding. Visitors from Pukekohe wore welcomed, also Mrs. Prescott after a long absence. Plans for the furnishing of the Tuakau Public Library before the official opening wore made, and later a wool work demonstration was given by Mrs. Lewis. The hostesses were Mrs. 11. E. Wing and Mrs. Morrow.
PORT ALBERT. The monthly mooting of the Port, Albeit Women's Institute, was held in Lho Public Hall on Thursday, Mrs. G. H. Smith presiding. A demonstration of cake icing was given by Mrs. Watson, ol Wcllsford, arid tea was dispensed by the hostesses, Mrs. Lcggc and Mrs. Hutchison.
