THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.

The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe, will pay a visit to King's College this afternoon. On Friday evening Their Excellencies will attend tho first performance of the play " Tlie Now Morality," in tho Town Hall concert chamber, in aid of tho obstetrical appeal. An At Homo in honour of Their Excellencies will be given by the Mayor and Mayoress of Auckland in the Town Hall on Wednesday of next week. The following day Lord Bledisloo will be the guest of honour at the monthly -luncheon of the Auckland Chamber of Commercaand will give an address.
