REPORT OF COMMISSION.

"It will bo published this weok if at' all possible," said tho Minister in charge of War Pensions, Hon. J. G. Cobbe, whon asked to-day about the report of iho Soldiers' Rehabilitation Commission, which recently investigated tho matter of soldiers' economic pensions. "Tho report is in print and the proofs, I believe, were corrected to-day," said tho Minister. "It is only waiting now to bo dealt with by Cabinet before being published. Tho original report consists of 71 pages, with nino pages of appendices. It is a lengthy document and I havo hardly been able to grip it myself yet." Tho three commissioners, Mr. J. S. Barton, S.M., Sir John Luke and Mr. S. J. Harrison, handed their report to the Minister just beforo ho left for Samoa, whero ho represented tho Government in tho negotiations with the Mau. During tho Minister's absence tho Pensions Department had tho opportunity of considering tho report. On Mr. Cobbe's return it was forwarded to tho repatriation branch of tho Stato Advances Department, as it was considered that the recommendations woro of such importance as to necessitate consideration by theso two departments
