SMUGGLED FROM SYDNEY. deportation order made. Staled to be one of a number of Chincso who had been smuggled into New Zealand from Sydney about four years ago, Chang Joe was fined £lO in the Police Court on Saturday, and was ordered to be deported, on a charge of entering the Dominion without permit;. Mr. J. McTnlosh, collector of customs, said accused admitted having paid £l5O to an agent in Sydney to liavo him smuggled into New Zealand. lie had landed at Wellington and worked on several properties of his countrymen. Ho was seen on the limited express in Auckland on Thursday night, and was arrested by the police at Tamnaruriui.
