DAYTONA RUNS ENDING. BEACH CONDITION STILL BAD. (Received April 12. 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, April 12. A message from Daytona Beach, Florida, says Mr. Kaye Don, the* English racing motorist, who has been attempting to break the world s land speed record, denies a report that lie has given up (ho effort. However, there is a welldefined feeling there that yesterday's runs were his last for this season. Mr. Don has booked his passage from New York bv the Aquitania, which is to sail on April 16. It is understood that a conference is to bo held this evening at which bo will be requested to state his exact intentions before interested persons. Mr. Warren Baker, course steward and a representative of the American Automobile Association, says he is ready to assume full responsibility fot 1 keeping Mr. Don off the beach. Ho himself had inspected it and ruled it unsafe. Asked if ho proposed another run tomorrow, Mr. Don replied: "I have been waiting for a good beach for ages. My car is ready. I will not stay hero until Christmas. I havo a party on at Home then."
