Tho advance party of tho Kanchenjunga expedition started to-day upon tho first stage of the journey. Tho remainder of tho party will leave Darjeeling at tho end of this week when the transport mules arrive.

Articles concerning tho Kanchonjunga expedition have already appeared in tho New Zealand Herald. One will bo found in to-day's issue and others are to bo published. Not only this preliminary series of articles, but subsequent ones describing tho great adverituro which has now commenced will bo printed in due courso.
